14 Films Announced for Fajr International Competition in Shiraz
WANA (Nov 26) – The screening schedule for the 43rd Fajr International Film Festival in Shiraz has been released, announcing that 14 titles will compete in the International Competition section.
The lineup includes: “He Does Not Sleep” directed by Reza Jamali; “Creating a Man” by Murad Chari; “When We Bloom Again” directed by Shin Kyung-soo; “Lesson Learned” by Bálint Szemler; “River Returns” by Masakazu Kanko; “My Father’s Scent” directed by Mohammad Siam; “Cataneh” by Ioana Miși; “Deal at the Border” by Dastan Zhapar Riskeldi; “A time in Eternity” directed by Mehdi Norouzian; “Pyre” by Vinod Kapri; “Made in EU” by Stephan Komandarev; “March to May” directed by Martin Pavel Repka; “Look at Me” by Vladimir Gramatikov; “Endless Land” by Vasilis Mazomenos; and “The Bridge” directed by Mohammad Asgari.
Featuring the participation of both Iranian and international filmmakers, the selection offers audiences a diverse panorama of contemporary cinema from Iran and around the world.
The 43rd Fajr International Film Festival, directed by Rouhollah Hosseini, will be held in Shiraz from November 26 to December 3.
