WANA (Aug 06) – Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence has announced the identification and arrest of 21 individuals linked to Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency, along with the detention of four members of armed criminal groups in Kerman Province.

 

In a statement, the ministry said intelligence forces in Kerman Province had carried out a series of operations and identified an alleged main collaborator with Mossad, as well as 20 other individuals connected to the agency in various cities across the province.

 

According to the statement, the main suspect had collected information on sensitive and classified sites, including military and air defense facilities, and provided the information to Israel’s intelligence service.

 

The ministry also said that 20 other individuals linked to Mossad had been arrested for their activities online, adding that investigations into their activities were ongoing. It said some of those detained had been involved in identifying and providing the locations of sensitive security sites in Kerman Province during the recent war.

 

In a separate part of the statement, the ministry announced the arrest of four armed individuals in Kerman Province as part of efforts to maintain public security. Authorities said weapons and ammunition, including military and hunting firearms, were seized from the suspects.

 

The ministry further stated that, as part of ongoing investigations into armed individuals allegedly involved in  the failed January 2026 coup attempt, four military firearms were seized from five detained suspects and handed over to judicial authorities for further legal proceedings.
