WANA (Oct 22) – The remarkable achievements of Iranians during the 12-day war with Israel, the United States, and their regional Western partners were not confined to the battlefield. In the weeks following the ceasefire, a new wave of Iranian brilliance began to unfold.

 

It was astonishing to witness how, despite the hardships and the strain of living under wartime conditions, Iranian sports and science teams captured top international titles in multiple global tournaments — all within just a few short weeks.

 

These victories and accomplishments undoubtedly uplifted the nation’s spirit and strengthened the people’s sense of self-confidence. In a recent meeting with Iran’s scientific and athletic champions, the Supreme Leader praised their efforts, saying:

 

“Medal winners — whether on the sports field or in scientific arenas — have brought joy to the people. Through your determination and hard work, you have filled the Iranian nation with pride and inspired our youth.”
