28 Ships Transit Strait of Hormuz in 24 Hours
WANA (May 31) – The Public Relations of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy announced that 28 vessels safely transited the strategic Strait of Hormuz over the past 24 hours after obtaining necessary authorization and coordination.
According to the IRGC Navy statement: “During the past 24 hours, 28 vessels, including oil tankers, container ships, and other commercial vessels, transited the Strait of Hormuz after obtaining permits through the coordination and security provision of the IRGC Navy.”
The statement further emphasized the regional security dynamics, adding, “The Persian Gulf is a body of water belonging to the Muslim countries of the region, and the aggression and wicked acts of the terrorist U.S. military are the primary causes of insecurity during these times. The smart control of the Strait of Hormuz is being carried out continuously, with firmness, power, and authority.”
Iran’s IRGC Navy, yesterday, also announced that 20 vessels were authorized to transit the strategic Strait of Hormuz after coordinating with the force and relevant Iranian maritime authorities.
