WANA (May 25) – The Navy of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that 32 vessels were granted permission to transit through the Strait of Hormuz over the past 24 hours.

According to the statement, the permits covered both inbound and outbound maritime traffic as part of ongoing monitoring and control operations in the strategic waterway.

Some of the vessels have already completed their passage, while the remaining ships are expected to cross the strait in the coming hours.

The IRGC Navy also described the “Waterway of Authority” as a secure navigation route located south of the Strait of Hormuz, extending between Qeshm and Larak islands at the entrance channel and south of Hengam Island along the outbound lane.
