4.6-Magnitude Earthquake Shakes Tehran
WANA (May 13) – A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck the border area between Tehran and Mazandaran provinces moments ago, with tremors felt across several parts of the capital and nearby cities.
According to local reports, the quake was felt in northern and southeastern areas of Tehran, including Pardis, Varamin, Pakdasht, and parts of Shemiranat. Residents reported noticeable shaking in some areas.
Earlier today, a separate 3.4-magnitude earthquake had also shaken the city of Pardis, raising concerns among residents in eastern Tehran Province.
Following the earthquake, the Iranian Red Crescent Society announced that all relief bases and emergency response teams in Tehran Province have been placed on full alert and are prepared to respond if necessary.
So far, no official reports of casualties or major damage have been released, and assessments of the affected areas are still underway.

The head of Iran’s Red Crescent Society has announced that the recent earthquake in Tehran has caused no human or material damage.
Tehran was shaken again at approximately 00:28 local time, following the earlier seismic event in the region.
A second earthquake measuring 4.0 in magnitude struck Tehran at 00:28 local time, registering at a depth of 8 kilometers, according to preliminary seismic reports.
Third Earthquake of Magnitude 3.4 Recorded Near Pardis
A third earthquake with a magnitude of 3.4 struck the area near Pardis at 00:32 local time, according to preliminary seismic reports.
The quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
