42,914 Civilian Units Damaged So Far in U.S. and Israeli Attacks
WANA (Mar 14) – The Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) announced in Statement No. 8 regarding the ongoing conflict that more than 67,000 citizens have contacted its 4030 hotline to receive counseling and psychological support.
According to the IRCS information portal, the statement on the conflict described as the “Zionist–American imposed war” against Iran includes the following details:
Psychological Support Services
From February 28 to the morning of March 14, more than 1,000 young Red Crescent counselors responded to 67,460 calls to the 4030 hotline, providing around 297,358 minutes (approximately 4,055 hours) of psychological counseling to people affected by the attacks.
Damage to Civilian Infrastructure
So far, 42,914 civilian units have been damaged due to attacks by the United States and Israel. Of these, 6,179 were commercial units and 36,489 residential buildings, including 10,000 homes in Tehran.
Damage to Medical and Educational Facilities
Since the start of the war, 160 medical, pharmaceutical, health, and emergency centers across the country have been severely damaged. In addition, 120 schools have been directly or indirectly targeted, resulting in the deaths of 206 students and school staff.
Damage to Red Crescent Facilities
A total of 17 Red Crescent centers have been seriously damaged since the beginning of the conflict. Twenty-one rescue vehicles, including 19 ambulances, have been put out of service. Ten Red Crescent relief workers have been injured while assisting victims, and one rescuer was killed during relief operations.
Casualties Among Medical Personnel
According to the statement, 16 members of Iran’s medical staff have been killed in airstrikes since the conflict began.
