Hezbollah Calls for Rally in Lebanon to Express Support for Iran
WANA (Jan 24) – Hezbollah has issued an official call for a public rally in Beirut aimed at expressing solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran and condemning insults directed at Iran’s Supreme Leader.
According to reports from Lebanon’s Al-Manar network, the rally is intended to demonstrate support for Iran, its leadership, and its people in the face of what Hezbollah described as ongoing threats and actions by the United States and Israel.
The gathering will also serve as a protest against what was described as an insult to a leading religious authority in the Islamic world, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.
The statement emphasized that the rally seeks to convey both popular and political support, while reaffirming resistance to external pressure and intimidation. Organizers have called on the public to participate widely in the event.
Hezbollah announced that the rally will take place on Monday of the current week at 3:30 p.m. local time at the Sayyid al-Shuhada Complex in Beirut’s southern suburb (Dahiyeh).
The group stressed that the call is open to all segments of society, underscoring the inclusive nature of the gathering and its message of regional solidarity amid recent developments.
