56th Wave of “True Promise 4” Targets Israeli Military Support Command and Rafael Missile Depot
WANA (Mar 16) – The Public Relations Office of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the launch of the 56th wave of Operation “True Promise 4,” targeting Israeli military facilities in the occupied territories as well as a U.S. base in the region.
According to the statement, the operation was carried out under the code phrase “Ya Zaynab al-Kubra (peace be upon her)” and dedicated to Major General Qassem Soleimani, described as the “leader of the resistance martyrs,” and the martyrs known as Defenders of the Shrine.
The IRGC said the strikes targeted several locations in the occupied territories, including the Southern Regional Support Command and a strategic missile storage depot belonging to Rafael Advanced Defense Systems in the northern part of the occupied territories. The statement added that the Al Udeid U.S. military base was also targeted.
According to the IRGC, the strikes were carried out using heavy and precision-guided missile systems, including Khorramshahr, Emad, and Qadr missiles, which reportedly hit their intended targets.
At the same time, the IRGC’s drone units launched separate attacks against positions of anti-Iran opposition groups in Erbil, which the statement said were struck in a wave of deadly drone strikes.
