Mokhber Warns Trump: “Imaginary Blockade” of Hormuz Will Trigger New Fronts
WANA (Apr 14) – Mohammad Mokhber, Advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, warned today that any attempt by the U.S. to blockade the Strait of Hormuz would be a strategic blunder leading to a “fresh surprise” for Washington.
Reacting to recent threats from the Trump administration, Mokhber characterized the U.S. President’s current state as “confusion” that precedes a significant mistake.
“The imagination of blockading the Strait of Hormuz will yield no results; instead, it will lead to another surprise, the opening of new fronts against the global hegemony, and increased economic pressure on the region, the world, and their own allies,” Mokhber stated.
Labeling the U.S. President a “loser,” Mokhber concluded that the administration is now forced to either “accept defeat or endure it.”
The comments signal Tehran’s readiness to respond to any maritime escalation in the world’s most critical oil transit point.
