$7000 Per Post: Israel’s Whitewashing Project with Americans
WANA (Oct 02) – Newly released documents reveal that the Israeli government has been paying American influencers up to $7,000 for each supportive post on social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, in an effort to counter declining public support in the United States.
According to reports, the documents—filed under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA)—show that Bridges Partners LLC, on behalf of Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has spent more than $900,000 to recruit and train between 14 and 18 American influencers.
These individuals are required to produce and publish content in coordination with Israeli influencers to amplify Tel Aviv’s preferred narrative across social media.
The campaign, operating under the name “Project Esther,” includes both payments to influencers and content production costs.
Reports state that the budget for this initiative comes from Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which received $150 million last year alone for foreign media influence projects outside the occupied territories.
