WANA (Apr 06) – A senior official in Iran’s Bushehr province said that two petrochemical facilities in the Pars region were struck in an air attack.

 

Ehsan Jahaniyan, deputy governor for political, security, and social affairs in Bushehr Province, stated that parts of the petrochemical infrastructure were hit by projectiles. He added that no casualties have been reported so far and that further details will be announced later.

 

In a separate statement, the National Petrochemical Company confirmed that several auxiliary facilities in the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone were targeted in what it described as continued attacks on industrial infrastructure.

 

According to the statement, emergency response teams—including safety, firefighting, and operational units—were immediately deployed to the site and began managing the situation.

 

Authorities said the situation is currently under control, while technical assessments and damage evaluations are ongoing. No fatalities have been reported at the time of the announcement.
