Airstrike Targets Shalamcheh Border Trade Terminal, Leaves One Dead and Two Injured
WANA (Apr 04) – The border trade terminal at Shalamcheh Border Crossing was hit in an airstrike on Saturday morning, according to local officials.
A senior security official in Khuzestan Province said the attack occurred at around 11:00 a.m., by the U.S. and Israeli forces and reporting significant damage to the facility.
The deputy for security and law enforcement of Khuzestan Province announced that the attack resulted in one fatality and two injuries.
According to the official, an Iraqi truck driver was killed, while two Iranian workers involved in cargo unloading were injured.
The airstrike targeted the Shalamcheh border terminal in Khorramshahr earlier in the day.
