Americans Will Take Wish to Cut Iran’s Missile Ranges to Their Graves
WANA (Oct 07) – The head of Iran’s Judicial Organization of the Armed Forces said on Wednesday that American calls to reduce Iran’s missile ranges to below 500 kilometres, “The Americans will take that wish to their graves.”
Ahmadreza Pourkhaqan, head of the Judicial Organization of the Armed Forces, made the remark during a meeting with Commander Seyed Hossein Mousavi, the commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force.
Pourkhaqan, who congratulated Mousavi on his appointment, highlighted the Islamic Republic’s strength and “the decisive role” of Iran’s missile and drone capabilities during the 12‑day imposed war.
He paid tribute to the late Tehrani‑Moghaddam and the “martyrs” of that conflict, particularly the late Hajjizadeh, his deputy Bagheri, and their comrades. He thanked those responsible for “astonishing” advances in the country’s missile program and the enhancement of the armed forces’ combat capabilities.
Describing Mousavi’s appointment as evidence of his merit, competence and distinguished operational record, Pourkhaqan said: “During the 12‑day war, the crushing strikes of Iran’s missiles and drones — with their significant destructive power, accuracy and ability to penetrate multilayered defences — changed the outcome of the imposed war in favour of the Islamic Republic and forced the Zionist enemy to raise the white flag and request a ceasefire.”
He added that Iran’s missile and drone power “has become a nightmare for the child‑killing Zionists,” and pointed to U.S. officials demanding limits on Iran’s capabilities. “The Vice President of the United States brazenly says: ‘Iran’s missile ranges must be reduced below 500 kilometres.’ Of course,” Pourkhaqan said, “the Americans will take that wish to their graves.”
Referring to Iran’s missile responses to U.S. actions, Pourkhaqan characterised the strikes on Ain al Asad and Al‑Udeid as “unparalleled since World War II” and said they demonstrated how much the IRGC Aerospace Force and other armed services affect enemy calculations.
Commander Mousavi, reporting on the Aerospace Force’s role during the 12-day conflict and on steps taken since, said: “Thanks be to God, after repairing the damages incurred, we are fully prepared to decisively and swiftly confront any threat or enemy adventurism.”
