WANA (Aug 06) – Iran’s judiciary announced that the execution of Roozbeh Vadi, an operative of the Mossad intelligence service, was carried out this morning following the completion of legal procedures and approval by the Supreme Court.

According to judicial sources, Vadi, who worked in one of the country’s key and sensitive organizations, had become a valuable target for the Israeli regime’s intelligence service due to the level of access his position provided.

Investigations revealed that he had been recruited by Mossad through online channels and, after undergoing various evaluation stages by the agency’s officers, began cooperating with them. Case documents indicate that after sending part of the requested information, he was tasked with traveling to Vienna, where he met with Mossad officers on five occasions.

Reports suggest that part of the information he provided concerned one of Iran’s martyred nuclear scientists, who was recently assassinated in an operation attributed to the Israeli regime.

Judicial authorities stressed that the sentence was carried out only after all stages of due process had been completed in accordance with legal requirements.
