Annual Terrorism Report in Iran for 2024 Released
WANA (Sep 03) – The annual terrorism report in Iran, covering terrorist incidents that occurred in the year 2024, has been published.
Compiled and published by the Habilian Foundation, the report provides a detailed account of terrorist activities carried out by groups against Iran and its citizens, both domestically and abroad, organized by day and month.
In addition to documenting the events, the report identifies the perpetrators and lists the victims of each attack.
According to the report, a total of 100 people lost their lives in terrorist incidents inside and outside the country last year.
Of these, 98 were Iranian and 2 were non-Iranian, while 98 were men and 2 were women. Among the casualties, 84 occurred within Iran and 16 abroad.
The report identifies the Jaish al-Adl terrorist group as the leading perpetrator with 27 operations, followed by the Israeli regime with 9 attacks. In total, 52 terrorist operations were recorded in 2024, 36 of which took place in the Sistan and Baluchestan province.
The report also includes both quantitative and qualitative analyses, as well as a research-based review of terrorism trends in 2024, compared with the previous year, 2023.
