WANA (Mar 14) – Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, a member of the political bureau of the Ansarallah movement, confirmed that Yemen has decided to stand alongside Iran, stressing that, as Ansarallah’s leader has previously stated, “our hands are on the trigger.”

Speaking to Al-Mayadeen, al-Bukhaiti said there is full coordination among the countries of the Axis of Resistance, including Yemen.

He added that the decision to stand with Iran has already been made in Yemen, emphasizing that they are closely monitoring developments and that, as Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of Ansarallah, indicated, their hands remain on the trigger. He noted that Yemen’s participation is only a matter of time and that there is complete coordination regarding this matter.

The Ansarallah political bureau member also stated that Iran has the right to target any U.S. bases in the region from which attacks against Iran are launched.

In his interview with Al-Mayadeen, he added that all the accusations previously directed at Iran have now collapsed, and that the true nature of Iran’s stance in supporting the causes of the Muslim world has become clear to everyone.

Al-Bukhaiti stressed the need for a regional position, saying that all countries in the region should condemn what he described as U.S. aggression and stand alongside Iran in this confrontation.

He noted that the party being targeted today is not only Iran, but all Arab and Islamic countries.

Addressing the peoples of the region, he said: “This is a battle imposed on us, and we must continue it until we are able to impose our own conditions.”

He described the confrontation as a “decisive battle,” adding that its outcome would ultimately be “the victory of justice.”

Al-Bukhaiti further stated that Washington has no real concern for the security of the Gulf countries and instead seeks to drag them into wars against Iran.

In a previous speech, Seyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi addressed Iran, saying: “Our hands are on the trigger, and we are ready to intervene whenever circumstances require.”

Meanwhile, large demonstrations were held yesterday in squares and cities across Yemen on the occasion of International Quds Day. During the rallies, participants emphasized Yemen’s full support for the Islamic Republic of Iran and praised attacks carried out against its enemies.

The demonstrations also reiterated support for Hezbollah and the resistance in Iraq.
