WANA (Jul 07) – Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss, a prominent leader of anti-Zionist Jews, met and held talks with Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the sidelines of meetings related to the BRICS summit in Brazil.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed regional developments, the aggressions of the Zionist regime, and the need to confront occupation and violence against the Palestinian people. Rabbi Weiss emphasized the distinction between Judaism and Zionism, once again voicing his opposition to the policies of the Zionist regime and expressing appreciation for Iran’s stance in supporting the Palestinian people.

He also stressed that Zionism is not only a threat to the Palestinian people but also a source of disgrace and harm to true Jews around the world.

It is reported that during his visit to Brazil, Rabbi Weiss had earlier visited the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, signed the memorial book for the martyrs of Israel’s aggressive attacks against Iran, and expressed solidarity with the Iranian people and government.

This meeting took place alongside the presence of officials and social and political activists at BRICS side events and was part of Iran’s ongoing outreach and dialogue with anti-Zionist figures at the international level.
