WANA (Mar 16) – Alireza Tangsiri, commander of the naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, warned that any attack on Khark Island could fundamentally alter global energy pricing and distribution dynamics.

 

Tangsiri wrote in a post on the social media platform X (Twitter) that Iran had previously been tested through the Strait of Hormuz.

 

“You tested Iran once through the Strait of Hormuz,” he wrote. “If the smart control of the strait established a new benchmark for oil prices, an attack on Khark would create another severe and entirely new equation for global energy prices and distribution.”
