WANA (Jul 14) – Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Seyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, issued a stern warning to Iran’s adversaries during a visit to the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), saying that any renewed aggression will be met with a “regret-inducing and even stronger response” from Iranian forces.

During his visit, Major General Mousavi met with personnel and commanders of the IRGC Aerospace Force and stated:

“What I witnessed today were entirely strong spirits, utterly determined faces, and a clear will to continue the mission with firmness, authority, and victory. Both in the construction sector and in production, I saw that everyone is working around the clock—rapidly, powerfully, forcefully, and precisely—without anything having been scaled back or slowed down.”

Honoring fallen IRGC commanders, especially the late Major General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, Mousavi lauded Hajizadeh’s strategic role in advancing Iran’s missile and drone capabilities. He called the commander’s legacy “lasting and inspiring for future generations of the Islamic Republic’s defenders.”

Referring to the recent 12-day conflict—widely interpreted as a reference to Iran’s regional military engagement—Mousavi described the Aerospace Force’s performance as a display of unprecedented strength.

“What the Aerospace Force has accomplished in this imposed war exceeds even the major operations of the Sacred Defense era,” he said, emphasizing that Iran’s sovereignty had never faced such a threat before.

The sharp sword of the Aerospace Force, with God’s help, managed to strike down the enemies and sever their hands,” he added.

He further stated that the country’s defense production sector remains fully operational around the clock. “We are confident that the determination, capabilities, and courage of these warriors—true sons of the Revolution—will not allow the legacy of our fallen commanders to be forgotten. They will continue until the complete victory of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

Offering reassurance to the Iranian public, Mousavi said, “As long as these brave and powerful soldiers are standing guard, the country’s security will not be compromised. And if the enemy dares to make another mistake, our forces are fully prepared to deliver an even harsher response than before.”

During the visit, IRGC Aerospace Force Commander Brigadier General Seyyed Majid Mousavi presented a report on the recent Promise of Truth 3 operation and its outcomes.

He highlighted the high level of coordination between the Aerospace Force, the General Staff, Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, and other branches of the armed forces.

“By God’s grace, and in line with our strategic directives, we remain with our ‘hand on the trigger,’ ready to counter any miscalculation or renewed adventurism by the enemy,” he affirmed.
