WANA (May 12) – The spokesperson for Iran’s Defense Ministry said any new threat, attack, or act of aggression by the enemy would be met immediately with a decisive and crushing response.

 

Brigadier General Reza Talaei-Nik stated that “any threat, attack, or aggression by the enemy will be answered immediately and without delay with a decisive, crushing, and regret-inducing response.”

 

He said the “American-Zionist enemy” must ultimately submit to the legitimate and undeniable rights of the Iranian nation, whether on the battlefield or in diplomacy. According to him, unless Iran’s “reasonable, legitimate, and definitive rights” are secured, the enemy will not be able to escape the quagmire in which it is trapped.

 

Talaei-Nik added that Iran has demonstrated its significant capabilities both in combat and diplomacy, backed by the field presence and support of the Iranian people.

 

He warned that if the opposing side refuses to accept the Iranian nation’s legitimate and definitive demands through diplomacy, it should expect a repeat of its military defeats.

 

The Defense Ministry spokesman continued by saying that the repeatability of the enemy’s failures on the battlefield is predictable given the realities of the region.

 

He added that, based on past developments, the Iranian nation will remain the main victor of what he described as an imposed war. He stressed that Iran has shown, both diplomatically and militarily, that it possesses the capability and determination to firmly defend the rights of its people.

 

Referring to recent regional developments, Talaei-Nik also said the repeated retreats of American ships and naval vessels from confrontation zones demonstrate the determination and operational capability of Iran’s armed forces — including the IRGC and the Army — as well as their readiness to deliver a “regret-inducing” response to any form of aggression.
