WANA (Sep 11) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has responded to remarks by Hang Kao, the acting U.S. Secretary of the Navy, regarding attacks on U.S. facilities and forces in the region, stressing that the American people should not pay the price for Israel’s wars.

 

In a post on X, Araghchi said the U.S. official’s candid remarks were worthy of appreciation, adding that he was correct in saying that Iran’s powerful armed forces had “leveled the U.S. Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain.”

 

The Iranian foreign minister further said that Iran’s armed forces had carried out similar actions against other bases supporting the U.S. aggression.

 

Araghchi concluded by stressing that the American people should not have to bear the costs of Israel’s wars.
