WANA (May 03) – Continuing a wave of high-level diplomatic outreach, Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi held separate telephone conversations on Sunday evening with Mauro Vieira of Brazil and José Manuel Albares of Spain.

Diplomatic Initiatives to End Hostilities

During both calls, Araghchi detailed Iran’s latest diplomatic initiatives aimed at establishing regional peace and stability.

He specifically briefed his counterparts on Tehran’s efforts to end the war imposed by the U.S. and the Israeli regime against Iran.

The conversations focused on two primary objectives:

Regional Security: Emphasizing Iran’s responsible approach to safeguarding sustainable security in West Asia.

Bilateral Relations: Exchanging views on international developments and strengthening ties with both Brasilia and Madrid.

Araghchi reiterated that Iran’s diplomatic path remains focused on de-escalation while protecting national interests in the face of ongoing regional tensions.
