Araghchi: Iran Is Entering Negotiations with “Total Mistrust”
WANA (Apr 11) – Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Johann Wadephul, the Foreign Minister of Germany, held a telephone conversation on Friday.
During the call, Iran’s Foreign Minister outlined the latest developments regarding the military aggression by the United States and the Israeli regime against Iran.
While addressing the ceasefire, he pointed to the continuation of brutal attacks against the people of Lebanon and emphasized the need for immediate action by the international community to stop these strikes.
The Foreign Minister added that Iran is entering negotiations with “total mistrust” due to repeated U.S. betrayals and breaches of diplomacy, stating that Iran will fight with full authority to secure the interests and rights of the Iranian nation.
The German Foreign Minister welcomed the establishment of a ceasefire and emphasized the necessity of stopping attacks against Lebanon. He expressed hope that the upcoming negotiations would lead to appropriate results for the stability and security of the region and the world.
