Araghchi: Iran–U.S. Nuclear Talks to Be Held in Muscat on Friday
WANA (Feb 04) – Iran’s Foreign Minister has announced that a new round of nuclear talks between Tehran and Washington will take place in the Omani capital, Muscat, on Friday at around 10:00 a.m. local time.
Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, made the announcement on Wednesday night, noting that the talks are part of ongoing diplomatic efforts to address the nuclear issue and ease tensions. He highlighted Oman’s facilitative role in hosting the negotiations.
In a post on the social media platform X, Araghchi expressed his gratitude to the Omani authorities for making all the necessary arrangements for the meeting, praising Muscat’s constructive role in supporting diplomatic dialogue in the region.
The upcoming talks come amid renewed diplomatic activity surrounding Iran’s nuclear file, with international and regional observers closely watching the outcome and its potential implications for future Iran–U.S. relations.
