Araghchi: It Was Israel That Attacked Diplomacy
WANA (Nov 03) – Iran’s Foreign Minister said on Sunday night that it was not Iran that destroyed diplomacy, but those who “blew up the negotiating table.” He added that Israel attacked diplomacy because its real fear was the collapse of its “project to manufacture an enemy out of Iran.”
Araghchi stated that over the past 48 hours, “a heinous lie that sought to justify the illegal bombing of Iran by Israel and the United States under the pretext of an ‘imminent nuclear threat’ has been completely exposed.”
He noted that Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, had explicitly confirmed that Iran “is not developing nuclear weapons and never has.” Araghchi added that Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi — a trusted mediator between Iran and the United States — also stressed that “there has never been any nuclear threat from Iran.”
“The destruction of diplomacy did not come from Iran,” Araghchi continued, “but from those who detonated the negotiating table.”

Grossi’s Major Admission: Iran Has No Nuclear Weapons Program
WANA (Nov 01) – Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), has made a rare admission, confirming that inspections carried out by the Agency have found no evidence of a nuclear weapons program in Iran. Speaking in an interview with Rudaw TV about recent satellite images showing some activity at […]
He further argued that Israel’s attack on diplomacy was driven by fear — fear that its long-standing narrative of portraying Iran as a global threat would no longer hold.
Araghchi also addressed the United States, saying: “The U.S. president entered the White House with a promise to end Netanyahu’s deceptions against Obama and Biden. It is still not too late to correct the course.”
Oman’s Stance on Iran’s Strike on Al-Udeid Air Base
Responding to a question about Iran’s missile strike on the U.S. air base in Al-Udeid, Qatar, Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi said: “We must look at the causes and reasons for that attack. Why did Iran take that action? Certainly, they did not start that war — not at all. I think that’s a clear answer to that question.”
He emphasized the need for dialogue and greater understanding on regional issues, including the Palestinian question, and once again called for discussions between Iran and the Gulf Cooperation Council.

The Iranian missile strike on the Al-Udeid Air Base in June 2025 was carried out after Israeli and U.S. airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities. The operation — codenamed “Basharat al-Fath” — was conducted in coordination with Qatar and followed prior warnings. The number of missiles fired reportedly matched the number of bombs dropped by U.S. aircraft during the July 2025 bombardment of Iran’s nuclear sites.
Analysts described the operation as a turning point that pressured Israel into accepting a ceasefire in its war against Iran. Following the attack, former U.S. President Donald Trump reportedly called for an immediate ceasefire and direct negotiations between Tehran and Tel Aviv.
