WANA (Mar 10) – In an interview with PBS, Iran’s Foreign Minister stated that negotiations with the United States are no longer on the Islamic Republic’s agenda.

Responding to questions, he emphasized: “We are all waiting for the speeches and positions of Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, which will be announced later. However, I do not think that the issue of talks or negotiations with the Americans will be on our agenda again, because we have had a very bitter experience negotiating with them.”

Araghchi also mentioned that Iran’s missile strikes would continue: “Our missile launches will continue, and we are ready to strike them whenever and as much as necessary.”

The Iranian Foreign Minister also referred to an incident in which the United States is held responsible for the martyrdom of 168 innocent schoolgirls in Minab. He stated: “These girls were sitting in their classrooms when they were suddenly killed by the U.S. military.”

Regarding recent developments, he said: “The Americans thought they could bring about regime change in 2 or 3 days and achieve a quick, clean victory, but they failed. In my opinion, their first plan has failed, and now they are trying other plans, but all of them have also failed.”

Araghchi expressed concern over the current situation of the war, saying: “I do not think the Americans have any realistic endgame for this war. There is a kind of confusion in their speeches and actions.”

He concluded by commenting on the recent attacks: “They have effectively targeted us blindly. Today, they targeted our residential areas, hospitals, and schools, and even attacked our infrastructure, which is a very dangerous move.”

Araghchi also stressed that the effects of these actions can be seen in global oil prices, and it seems that their goals have become aimless after ten days of the conflict.
