Araghchi Oman Visit Report Debunked
WANA (Nov 02) – According to informed sources, reports citing the Oman News Agency claiming that Iran’s Foreign Minister Araghchi would have an unplanned visit to Oman tonight in recent hours are false.
It is reported that the Oman News Agency has not published any such report, and the image circulating alongside the news is false.
In recent days, experts say Oman is once again playing the role of mediator in conveying messages between Tehran and Washington.
Earlier, the Iraqi news website Baghdad Al-Youm claimed that diplomatic sources in Tehran revealed the United States had sent a message to Iran via the Sultanate of Oman, signaling a readiness to resume talks.
Meanwhile, Iran’s government spokesperson confirmed today that Iran has received messages regarding the resumption of negotiations, and further details about the nature and content of these messages will be announced at an appropriate time.
