WANA (Mar 27) – Following recent attacks on Iran’s critical infrastructure, Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi responded in a post on X, warning of serious consequences.

Araghchi wrote: “Israel has hit 2 of Iran’s largest steel factories, a power plant and civilian nuclear sites among other infrastructure. Israel claims it acted in coordination with the U.S.”

He added: “Attack contradicts POTUS extended deadline for diplomacy.”

The Iranian foreign minister concluded with a warning: “Iran will exact a HEAVY price for Israeli crimes.”

These remarks come amid official reports confirming that several industrial and energy facilities—including major steel plants, power infrastructure, and civilian nuclear sites—have been targeted. Authorities also reported attacks on the Khondab Heavy Water Complex in Arak and the Ardakan yellowcake production facility.

According to the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, no casualties or radioactive leaks have been reported, and the situation remains under control.

Meanwhile, some damage has been confirmed at industrial sites, with assessment teams continuing to evaluate the full extent of the impact.
