WANA (Apr 04) – Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi reacted to attacks on the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant on X, writing:

 

“Remember the Western outrage about hostilities near Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine? Israel-U.S. have bombed our Bushehr plant four times now. Radioactive fallout will end life in GCC capitals, not Tehran. Attacks on our petrochemicals also convey real objectives.”

 

The comments come after a projectile struck near the perimeter of Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant on Saturday morning, April 4, killing one member of the facility’s physical protection unit.

 

The strike occurred around 8:30 a.m. local time, damaging an auxiliary building, though preliminary assessments indicate the main plant facilities were not affected and operations continue.

 

This incident marks the fourth attack on the Bushehr nuclear complex during the ongoing conflict.
