WANA (Mar 05) – In response to the U.S.-Israeli attack on the Dena frigate, Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, expressed strong condemnation, stating that the United States would deeply regret the actions it had taken.

Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “The U.S. has perpetrated another actrocity at sea, 2,000 miles away from Iran’s shores.”

Araghchi further explained that the Dena frigate, which was a guest of the Indian Navy and carrying nearly 130 crew members, was struck in international waters without warning.

He issued a direct warning to the U.S., saying, “The U.S. will come to bitterly regret precedent it has set.”

Earlier on Wednesday morning, the Sri Lankan Navy reported that the Dena frigate had sunk in the Indian Ocean, and around 140 crew members were missing after the incident.
