WANA (Jun 10) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi has issued a stark warning to external forces, asserting that Tehran’s military will respond decisively to any provocation and advising foreign military presence to withdraw from the region for their own safety.

 

In a statement published on his official social media account—and carrying a graphic labeled “Forever Persian Gulf”—the top diplomat criticized recent American foreign policy maneuvers.

 

A Warning on Regional Presence

Araghchi stated that despite what he termed “defeats on the battlefield,” the United States has chosen to test Iran’s resolve. He emphasized the readiness of Iran’s military response to any external pressure or aggression.

 

“Our Powerful Armed Forces will leave no attack or threat unanswered,” Araghchi warned. “Leave our region if you want to be safe.”

 

Historical Precedent

Concluding his remarks, the Foreign Minister pointed to regional history as a cautionary tale for foreign interventions in the Middle East.

 

“History of the Persian Gulf has many chapters on dire fates of intruding outsiders,” Araghchi noted, signaling that Tehran views the ongoing presence of Western military assets as an unsustainable infringement on regional security.
