WANA (Apr 24) – Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi will begin a periodic tour of Islamabad, Muscat, and Moscow starting Friday evening, April 24.

The purpose of this trip is for bilateral consultations, discussions regarding current developments in the region, as well as the latest situation of the war with the United States and the Israeli regime against Iran.

In a message on X (formerly Twitter) outlining the goals of his regional tour, Seyed Abbas Araghchi wrote:

“Embarking on timely tour of Islamabad, Muscat, and Moscow.

Purpose of my visits is to closely coordinate with our partners on bilateral matters and consult on regional developments.

Our neighbors are our priority.”

According to reports, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, is not scheduled to meet with U.S. officials during his visit to Islamabad.

Two Pakistani government sources familiar with the discussions also stated that Araghchi’s visit will be brief and is aimed at reviewing Iranian proposals for negotiations with the United States—proposals that Pakistan, acting as a mediator, will convey to Washington.
