WANA (Aug 13) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi issued a stern warning to Washington, accusing the United States of making dangerous strategic miscalculations regarding Iran and the strategic Strait of Hormuz based on flawed intelligence.

In a post published on X (formerly Twitter), Tehran’s top diplomat criticized American foreign policy and military strategy in the region, cautioning U.S. leadership against relying on faulty assessment frameworks.

“The U.S. has long miscalculated due to intelligence failures. Case in point: The war on Iran. Now, an even bigger miscalculation on the Strait of Hormuz,” Araghchi wrote.

Warning of the consequences of acting on flawed information, the Foreign Minister added, “Worse than fake news is fake intelligence. Be careful.”

Araghchi concluded his message with a resolute stance, stating, “Allah is Great, Greater than ANY power on Earth. In Allah we trust.”
