WANA (Mar 29) – Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, reacted to reported attacks on universities by the United States and Israel in a post on X, saying: “Israel and its partner-in-crime believe that knowledge can be bombed away.”

He added, “It’s reflected in the murders of Iran’s scientists and attacks on Iran’s nuclear sites, and now universities.”

He concluded, “Reality check: your actions ooze of desperation and only inspire more pursuit of knowledge…”

His remarks come following the U.S.-Israeli attacks on Iranian universities, Isfahan University of Technology, and Tehran University of Science and Industry.

Following these attacks on Iranian universities, the IRGC, in a statement, declared American universities in the West Asia region and Israeli universities as ‘legitimate targets’ for scientific and military retaliation.
