Araghchi’s Stern Warning to the U.S.: Iran’s Next Response Won’t Be Concealable
WANA (Jul 28) – In a clear and forceful message posted on the social platform X, Iran’s Foreign Minister reacted to recent American threats by warning against any repeat of military aggression. He stressed that should it happen again, Iran’s response would be “even more decisive”—and this time, “it will not be concealable.”
Referring to Iran’s 7,000-year-old civilization, Araghchi wrote: “Iran, a nation with deep-rooted and rich cultural heritage, does not respond to the language of threats and intimidation. Iranians only respond to respect—and have never bowed to foreign powers.”
Commenting on the recent joint military assault by the U.S. and Israel, he added: “Iran knows exactly what happened to us—and to our enemies—including the extent of the damage they’ve sustained, much of which remains censored. If this aggression is repeated, there will undoubtedly be a stronger response, one that simply cannot be hidden.”
Araghchi also warned about the impact of sanctions and recent attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities, emphasizing that over one million Iranians rely on radiopharmaceuticals produced at the Tehran Research Reactor, which runs on 20% enriched uranium.
“No rational nation would abandon the fruits of its massive investment in indigenous, peaceful technology simply to appease foreign bullies,” he wrote.
He characterized the recent bombing of nuclear facilities as a sign of the failure of military pressure, stating: “If there are concerns about possible deviations in Iran’s nuclear program, military action has proven ineffective. Perhaps a negotiated solution might still offer a way forward.”
Araghchi concluded: “Iran’s peaceful nuclear program has been built with tears and blood. It cannot be destroyed with bombs. Yes, our facilities have been damaged—but our determination has not.”

The Iranian minister’s remarks followed aggressive comments made a day earlier by U.S. President Donald Trump during his meeting with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Scotland. Trump stated:
“If Iran resumes its nuclear program, we will wipe it out faster than you can blink. We’ll do it gladly and publicly. We already destroyed Iran’s nuclear capabilities, and if they start again, we’ll do it again—just like before.”
He further claimed: “Iran told Hamas to sabotage the negotiations.”
In this climate, Araghchi’s response can be seen as a direct and explicit reply to Washington’s renewed language of threats and the reemergence of a maximum pressure strategy—a response that underscores Iran’s unwillingness to abandon diplomacy, or to yield under coercion.
