WANA (Jul 15) – Iran’s Foreign Minister, who is in China to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, met and held talks with the President of China.

 

Seyed Abbas Araqchi, the Foreign Minister, who has traveled to China to participate in the 25th SCO Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, met and spoke today (Tuesday, July 14) along with other foreign ministers of SCO member states with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

 

Before this group meeting, there was also a brief bilateral meeting and conversation between Iran’s Foreign Minister and the President of China.

 

The Foreign Minister, who arrived in China yesterday evening (Tehran time) to attend the meeting, is scheduled to deliver a speech at the SCO Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and, on the sidelines, hold talks with other participating officials, including the foreign ministers of China and Russia.
