WANA (Jul 11) – The Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army stated: “During the eight years of the Sacred Defense, we proved that we will never allow even an inch of Iranian soil to be taken away.”

 

On Friday, Major General Amir Hatami, accompanied by Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, Deputy Coordinator of the Army, and Brigadier General Pilot Hamid Vahedi, Commander of the Air Force, visited various sections of Shahid Lashgari Airbase and assessed the combat readiness of the unit.

 

In a meeting with the base’s pilots, Major General Hatami emphasized that the Army’s mission is to safeguard the territorial integrity, independence, and the Islamic Republic system of Iran. He added: “At the core of preserving our territorial integrity is the protection of the sacred system of the Islamic Republic, which itself has ensured the defense of our borders.”

 

Reaffirming the Army’s commitment, he said: “The Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue its mission with full strength. We have demonstrated during the eight years of the Sacred Defense that we will never allow even an inch of Iranian soil to be separated.”
