Arrest of 700 Israeli Operatives in Iran Over 12 Days
WANA (Jun 25) – Over 700 individuals affiliated with the Israeli regime have been arrested by Iranian security forces over the past 12 days.
Following Israel’s attack on Iran, the Israeli regime’s espionage network became highly active across the country. Iranian intelligence and security forces managed to identify and arrest more than 700 operatives during this period.
These operatives, who were primarily involved in espionage and sabotage networks, were identified and detained through a combination of public reports and intelligence operations.
A review of reports from the past 12 days indicates that the highest numbers of arrests occurred in the provinces of Kermanshah (126 spies), Isfahan (76 spies), Khuzestan (62 spies), Fars (53 spies), and Lorestan (49 spies). The exact number of arrests in Tehran Province has not yet been officially announced.
Among the anti-security activities attributed to these individuals are directing and operating suicide drones and quadcopters, manufacturing improvised explosive devices (IEDs), filming sensitive military sites, and transmitting information to the Israeli army.
The reported figures are based on official statements from Iran’s security and judicial agencies, and do not include foreign nationals who have also been detained.
According to informed sources, over 10,000 small drones and quadcopters have been seized in Tehran alone in recent days.
During the Israeli strikes on June 12, a number of Iranian military commanders and nuclear scientists — including Hossein Salami, Mohammad Bagheri, Ali-Akbar Tehranchi, and Fereydoon Abbasi — were assassinated. In addition, dozens of civilians, including women and children, were killed.
In connection with these events, Iran’s judiciary has announced that over the past two weeks, death sentences for three Israeli spies — Majid Mosayebi, Esmail Fekri, and Mohammadamin Mahdavi-Shayesteh — have been carried out.
