WANA (Jun 25) – General Ali Shadmani, commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, who was severely wounded last week during an Israeli airstrike on Iran, has died from his injuries.

The headquarters’ public relations office confirmed the news in an official statement, describing Shadmani as a veteran military commander with decades of experience in various operational and strategic roles.

He was also a prominent figure during the Iran-Iraq war and, in recent years, had held command over one of Iran’s most significant operational military bases.

According to official sources, Shadmani played a key role over the years in strategic planning and field coordination for the regional resistance front.

Following the announcement of his assassination, military officials, fellow commanders, and several political figures issued statements expressing condolences over the loss. His funeral is scheduled to be held in Tehran on Saturday.

Official sources emphasized that the path of resistance pursued by figures like Shadmani will not be halted and will continue with even greater determination.

The Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters also vowed that “a harsh retaliation awaits the criminals whose hands are stained with the blood of Martyr Shadmani.”
