WANA (May 27) – Ayatollah Seyed Ahmad Khatami declared during the Eid al-Adha prayer sermons at Tehran University this morning that the Iranian nation’s enemies will never achieve their goal of humiliating Iran.

Addressing the congregation, Khatami stated that submitting to humiliation is the peak of vice and that the crazy enemy in the Black House, which is wrongly referred to as the White House, wants the humiliation of the Iranian nation, but this madman will take this wish to the grave.

The provisional Tehran Friday prayer leader pointed to the positions of the U.S. president, noting that while he constantly speaks of negotiations with Iran, the truth is that their purpose is not negotiation but surrender.

Khatami referenced a message delivered yesterday by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei to Hajj pilgrims, noting that the Supreme Leader stated the Iranian nation has frustrated the enemies in forcing Iran’s surrender.

Khatami called the continuous presence of the people on the scene a clear example of resistance, describing the phenomenon as completely unprecedented across the country’s cities, villages, and especially in Tehran.

Domestic Resistance and the Gaza Support Flotilla

In another part of his speech, the cleric emphasized the necessity of economizing, stating that saving water, electricity, and other areas is in line with national resistance.

Khatami then pointed to recent developments regarding the “Sumud” flotilla formed in support of the people of Gaza, stating that this fleet, which was created from all over the world to support the oppressed people of Gaza, showed two pictures to the world.

The first picture was the aliveness of human conscience in the world, as the flotilla was launched to support the oppressed despite the awareness of the criminal behavior of the Israeli regime. Khatami called this action a human and divine value, even if the supporters are not Muslim. The second picture, he stated, was the vileness of the Israeli regime, which showed its criminal nature once again.

The Tehran Eid prayer preacher concluded by stating that this vileness is registered not only on the forehead of the Israeli regime but also on the forehead of Trump, as he supports this regime.

Ethical Exhortations

At the beginning of his sermon, the Eid al-Adha preacher cited narrations regarding negative traits, adding that according to traditions, anyone who breaches a trust is not from us, anyone who cheats or deceives Muslims is not from us, and anyone who is not a good neighbor is also not from us.
