WANA (Mar 06) – The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the U.S. and Israeli attack on civilian airports and the targeting of a passenger aircraft marks another dark chapter in what he described as a campaign of terror and crimes against Iranians.

 

Esmail Baghaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, reposted a message from Iran Air on the social media platform X and wrote: “Cowardly attacks on civilian airports and the deliberate targeting of an Iran Air passenger plane in Bushehr represent another dark chapter in the aggressors’ campaign of terror and crime against the Iranian people.”

 

He added that Iran is determined to respond with strength.

 

According to the report, Iran Air had earlier written in a post on X: “No, no, no — nuclear weapons are not produced in schools, hospitals, museums, football stadiums, commercial airplanes… Bushehr Airport, Mehrabad Airport, or anywhere else in Iran.”
