Baghaei: High Probability of Finalizing MoU in Coming Days
WANA (Jun 13) – Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei stated that there is a high probability of finalizing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the coming days, addressing recent optimistic remarks made by the Foreign Minister.
Speaking to reporters during a visit to Hamedan, Baghaei was asked about statements from the Foreign Minister indicating that parties “have never been this close to an agreement.”
The spokesperson affirmed, “The probability of finalizing the memorandum of understanding in the coming days is high.”
When questioned about media claims regarding a potential trip by the Iranian negotiating delegation to either Geneva or Islamabad within the next 48 hours to finalize the agreement, Baghaei dismissed the immediate travel rumors.
“Regarding the exact timing of the signing, we must wait,” the spokesperson said. “However, we have no plans for a trip to Geneva or anywhere else within the next day or two.”
