WANA (Mar 09) – The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that missile attacks against Iran are being launched from the territory of some neighbouring countries and that the United States is using their airspace to conduct military operations against Iran.

Esmaeil Baghaei, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wrote in a post on the social media platform X on Monday, March 9, after publishing a video, that “American aggressors are endangering regional security by exploiting the territory of neighboring countries to attack Iran.”

In his message, Baghaei emphasized that some observers insist on ignoring the logic behind Iran’s defensive strikes against U.S. military bases and assets in the region, while missiles are being launched toward Iran from residential areas within the territory of neighbouring countries.

The Foreign Ministry spokesperson also stated that U.S. fighter jets use the airspace of neighbouring countries to carry out attacks against Iran—an action that, according to him, has dangerous consequences for regional stability and security.

Referring to these developments, Baghaei stressed that such actions not only constitute a violation of countries’ sovereignty but could also pose a serious threat to collective security in the region.
