His repeated boasts and daily rhetoric can be compared to the behavior of those same penguins.

 

In an interview with Fox News, Trump threatened that if the Strait of Hormuz were closed, Iran would face severe consequences and would not be able to return to normal conditions.

 

He also stated that, if necessary, he might take action to gain control of the strait and that Iran should restrain its proxy groups.

 

Trump appears to have forgotten the claims he made before launching an attack and how, only days later, he called for a ceasefire.

 

His threats are viewed less as a sign of strength and more as a reflection of concern about the outcome of a confrontation with Iran.

 

One possible response to these threats would be for Iran’s negotiating team to leave the negotiating table.

 

The killings of Qassem Soleimani and hundreds of other victims should not be overlooked, and demands for accountability remain unresolved.
