WANA (Jun 08) – Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization (CAO) has announced the complete reopening of national airspace and the resumption of scheduled commercial flight operations following the formal conclusion of recent military activities.

 

In an official directive citing CAO President Captain Shiroodi, the aviation authority confirmed that, following clearance from relevant defense and security agencies regarding the end of military maneuvers, airspace restrictions have been lifted. Air traffic operations are now resuming in compliance with issued Notice to Air Missions (NOTAM) guidelines.

 

“With the establishment of secure operational conditions and the finalization of necessary coordination with relevant authorities, all flight restrictions have been removed,” Captain Shiroodi stated, according to the CAO report. He added that the country’s aviation activities are systematically returning to their standard schedules.

 

The CAO chief emphasized that all subsequent flights will be executed in accordance with international safety regulations, standards, and official aviation notices, reiterating that passenger safety and flight security remain the primary priorities of the organization.

 

The Civil Aviation Organization has advised passengers to verify their flight statuses and check the latest operational updates directly with airlines and airport authorities prior to traveling to departure terminals.
