The source emphasized that the recent ceasefire in Lebanon provides a positive context for Iran’s approach to upcoming talks. However, Iran expects the U.S. to adhere to a logical framework for negotiations and avoid excessive demands or breaches of prior commitments that could disrupt the process.
In parallel, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei confirmed today that communication with the United States through Pakistani intermediaries has continued daily since the Iranian delegation returned from Islamabad on Sunday.
Baghaei also noted that the high-level Pakistani delegation is highly likely to brief Tehran in detail on discussions with the American side and to coordinate regional perspectives.
