“Comprehensive Defense” Is the Main Priority of Iran’s Foreign Policy
WANA (Oct 27) – On the occasion of the Non-Combatant Defense Week in Iran, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, emphasized that the strategy of “comprehensive defense” and utilizing all capacities, particularly in the areas of political and diplomatic defense, to safeguard national interests, is one of the primary priorities of the country’s foreign policy.
Araqchi added, “In the current situation, ensuring national security and confronting external threats can only be achieved through a comprehensive and coordinated approach across all sectors.” He further stressed the importance of active diplomacy and international interactions in protecting national interests and enhancing the country’s global standing.
