WANA (Jun 17) – Iran’s intense missile responses have not only shattered Israel’s gas infrastructure but also brought heavy consequences for countries supporting the aggression against Iranian territory.

These attacks on Israel’s energy facilities have led to the shutdown of one of its gas fields — the offshore “Leviathan” field.

Analysts had previously warned that if the operations of this gas field remained halted, not only would Egypt face electricity shortages, but Jordan’s access to Israeli gas would also be reduced.

Now, Iran’s successful missile responses have had serious repercussions for neighbouring countries, especially Jordan, which has effectively played a logistical role in Israel’s aggression against Iran.

In response to the crisis, Jordan’s National Electric Power Company has halted gas supply to industrial plants in order to prevent disruptions in power delivery to vital sectors.
