Consular Section of the Iranian Embassy in London Operational
WANA (Jan 22) – The Consular Section of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in London continues its activities as usual.
The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in London states: Despite the dissemination of some false reports and notwithstanding certain disruptions, the Consular Section of the Embassy is, as per its regular and usual schedule throughout the week, providing consular services to Iranian nationals and other applicants.
Opponents of the Islamic Republic of Iran residing in London have attacked the Iranian embassy multiple times in recent days.
London Police have stated that they have so far arrested 14 individuals who had gathered in front of the Iranian embassy building on charges of disrupting public order.
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi had previously stated: “If Britain does not protect Iran’s diplomatic premises, we will have no choice but to consider evacuating our personnel.”
